Ingredients
- 250 g small pasta (vermicelli or broken spaghetti)
- 1 liter milk
- 4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- A pinch of cinnamon or shredded coconut (optional)
- Nuts for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the pasta halfway (al dente), then drain well.
- In a pot, heat the milk with sugar, vanilla, and butter.
- In a separate cup, dissolve the cornstarch in a little cold milk.
- When the milk starts boiling, add the cornstarch mixture and stir until it thickens.
- Add the pasta to the creamy milk and cook for 3–5 minutes while stirring.
- Remove from heat and pour into bowls.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate until it sets.
- Top with nuts, cinnamon, or coconut if you like.
